_Shop Hand_ to join our team in Fort St.
John, BC.


A DAY IN THE LIFE?

  • Organizes and maintains shop and yard.
  • Receiving and shipping Freight
  • Performs minor preventative maintenance on tools/equipment.
  • Manages material inventory returned from projects.
  • Arranges pick ups and/or hot shots materials and products to various projects.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Acts in a manner consistent with PTW's core values and according to PTW's Code of Business Conduct and Ethical Behaviour.
  • Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW Health & Safety Manual and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.).
  • Good handeye coordination. Possesses the ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Teamwork and communication skills. Commitment to safety rules
  • Must be approachable and maintain a positive attitude.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT

  • Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
  • Must have CSA approved safety boots.
