Role Summary

As a Storage Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a storage facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for customers.

Your primary focus will be on customer service, facility security, leasing, and overall facility management. Typical work week is Tuesday - Saturday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (other hours may be required in order to show available units)

Key Accountabilities


Customer Service:


  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and provide information about available storage units
  • Facilitate the rental process, including completing paperwork and explaining terms and conditions

Facility Management:


  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed, including security systems, lighting, and other facility infrastructure
  • Manage inventory of available storage units, ensuring accurate recordkeeping
  • Coordinate disposal of abandoned units

Leasing and Sales:


  • Update the website to reflect all available units at any given time
  • Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing available units
  • Negotiate and execute lease agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies

Security and Safety:


  • Monitor surveillance systems and alarm systems
  • Conduct regular security checks of the premises
  • Program FOBS and properly record on tenants profile

Financial Management:


  • Process rental payments and maintain accurate financial records
  • Follow up with collections for missed payments
  • Follow company guidelines for Collections timing and process
Education & Experience

  • Requires Grade 12 education.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role preferred
  • Living in Tsawwassen or Ladner areas would be an asset
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager, Commercial Cafe would be an asset
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Google Workspace; Google Docs, Google Sheets, Gmail etc.
  • Customerfocused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
