There are plenty of fish in the are searching for a Marlin

The successful applicant will have a passion for keeping fish and poses 5 -10 years experience maintaining and servicing both saltwater and freshwater aquariums.

Knowledge will include water chemistry, quality and filtration. Must be mechanically inclined and physically fit and healthy as the position can be demanding at times. A pleasant and professional interpersonal manor is expected with all clientele. Reliability is critical as this is a fast paced well established company that requires an exceptional work ethic.

Skills required:
- maintenance on small and large scale aquariums
- basic knowledge of aquarium pumps, filters, lighting, plumbing and electrical

Saltwater and freshwater fish husbandry including feeding/nutrition
Aquascaping creativity
Minimum open water scuba diving certificate (an asset but not critical)
First aid training
Organizational skills
Time management
Self starter
Aquarium relocation
Fish Illness Identification and treatment
Woodworking and glazier experience is an asset but not required

Duties Include:

Driving from client to client and logging mileage (require own transportation)
Calm and courteous interaction throughout the day
On site assessment of each aquarium
Advise on any equipment or supply requirements
Aquarium maintenance including aerator cleaning, water change, vacuuming, plant bleaching, scrubbing rocks, removal and disposal of sick or injured fish, lighting/timer checks, cleaning glass and
Choosing and transporting fish
Maintaining automatic fish feeders
On call emergencies are a reality but not frequent
