JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for tracking trucks, communicating with drivers to assist with escalations. Work within a warehouse environment to provide support where needed, assisting with customer escalations. Provide amazing customer service to our clients and customers.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Input carrier codes and schedule pickups/deliveries
Trace delivery trucks to ensure deliveries arrive on time
Prior driver departures, ensures that specials to be covered are assigned
Follow ups on specials assigned
Work with drives to attend issues upon delivery and attempts to reconcile
Analyzes carrier service reports monthly. Compiles data issues report.
Analyzes daily planned routes for efficiency
Provides back up support in the department as needed
Promotes a clean, safe and positive work environment
Other tasks as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High school education or equivalent. Post-Secondary education is an asset
12 year of experience in a warehouse environment preferred
3 years in a similar role or in customer service experience

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Ability to prioritize work assignments
Ability to multitask and have a positive attitude
Service oriented with effective customer interaction skills
Strong knowledge of computer systems including WMS, Microsoft Office products
Knowledge on tracking software Shiptrack
