What you will do:


Reporting to Associate Dean, Digital Learning, within the Innovative Learning (IL) department, the Educational Technology Coordinator acts as the lead facilitator for the delivery of training and resources related to the use of education technology to an audience of instructors, staff, and other departments across the institution.

This role also provides tier-three support to faculty and staff through the IL Support Centre, and plays a lead role in the delivery of IL events through support for presentations and general operations at daily conferences, faculty orientation, and other professional development opportunities.

Curious by nature, the incumbent actively researches new and emerging educational technology and tools, collaborates with stakeholders to provides recommendations on the most appropriate solution for each need or requirement, and develops corresponding workflows and support resources.


What you bring to the role:

Experience with WordPress, Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate, Learning Management Systems, a wide variety of educational technology solutions, and tools that support creating screen captures, short instructional videos, infographics, and quick and responsive communications is an asset.
