Summary
Mirage Pools is looking for driven and detail‑oriented Project & Service Pool Technician(s) Specialist to join our growing Projects Division. If you take pride in precision, enjoy hands‑on work, and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, this role is for you.
As key members of our project team, you'll play a vital role in transforming backyards and elevating customer experiences. Your work will include measuring and installing vinyl liners, fitting safety and winter covers, performing leak detection and repairs, and supporting a variety of pool construction and renovation projects. Primary Responsibilities:
Project Division Operations & Leadership
- Support day-to-day operations within the Projects Division, including vinyl liners, safety covers, winter covers, leak detection and/or repair, and special project work.
- Oversee and direct a crew of 2-5 team members to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality project execution.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project timelines to meet customer commitments.
- Provide hands-on field support to ensure safety, quality workmanship, and project efficiency.
- Serve as an escalation point for technical or customer-related issues during active projects.
- Identify opportunities for recommending additional services to homeowners.
- Maintain professional, proactive communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Coordination & Execution
- Measure swimming pools for vinyl liners, safety covers, and winter covers.
- Install vinyl liners, safety covers, and all related components.
- Perform all tasks associated with liner replacements, including; {Pool preparation / Grinding / patching / troweling, and painting; / Concrete and gravel work / Coping/track repairs / Pool light installation or replacement
- Conduct leak detection and/or repair, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the Service Division on follow-up work or customer needs.
- Ensure job sites remain clean, organized, and safe.
Team Leadership & Training
- Support the training and development of project crew members.
- Provide coaching, direction, and feedback to reinforce high standards of performance.
- Lead by example in professionalism, customer service, and workmanship.
- Conduct and participate in daily start-of-day and end-of-day routines including crew briefings and equipment checks.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow and reinforce all Mirage Pools safety protocols and Ontario safety requirements.
- Ensure proper PPE use and safe operation of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a hazard-free, organized worksite.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain accurate job notes, measurements, and photos in company systems.
- Support improvements to internal workflows and customer communication loops.
- Assist with the development or refinement of SOPs, training guides, and standardized processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of pool construction, pool renovation, liners, leak detection, and related equipment.
- Proven ability to train, lead, and motivate team members.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong customer service presence and professional communication.
- Ability to balance hands-on work with planning and coordination responsibilities.
- Experience with tools, equipment, and pool-specific service practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in the swimming pool industry or a related construction/service field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is an asset.
- Valid G-Class Driver's License.
- CSA-approved safety boots and appropriate workwear.
- Physical demands of this role include working outdoors in all weather conditions, safely lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs., standing and walking for extended periods, and performing hands‑on tasks related to pool construction, renovation, and service. Working Conditions:
- This role requires standing for extended periods and frequent lifting of up to 50lbs.
- Exposure to pool-related chemicals; proper safety procedures must be followed at all times to minimize risk.
- Work is primarily conducted at our customer homes, outdoor environment.
- Flexible work schedule required, including evenings and weekends during peak seasons (e.g. April – June, September – October).
- Participation in special projects and seasonal tasks, including pool closings and facility maintenance.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with shifting priorities.

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
