Recently, Porter announced an expansion of its network across North America acquiring up to 80 new Embraer E19- E2.

This growth plan will make Porter a national airline and create incredible opportunities for team members to expand skill sets, work on new projects, and experience our vast network of destinations.


Reporting to the VP, Finance, this role will be responsible for leading the treasury and accounts payable teams at Porter Airlines. With the expansion of the airlines, controls of payment processes, systems and understanding working capital requirements will be a critical function.

The role will have a strong focus on the administration of the treasury as well as the accounts payable groups.

Specific responsibilities within each area include

:


TREASURY

:

_ _Manage 1 treasury analyst**:

  • **Administration of the daily banking functions which includes but is not limited to daily reporting, letter of credit administration**:
  • **Administration all merchant payment portals**:
  • **Liquidity forecasting and planning**:
  • **Liaise with various business partners to support treasury initiatives such as setting up new locations, ordering processing hardware from our merchants and ensuring the correct reporting features are available to perform analytics**:
  • **Analyze various merchant hold back calculations and identifying opportunities**:
  • **Ensure we meet all covenant reporting requirements and deadlines**:
  • **Support the finance management team with various month end tasks including timely and accurate bank reconciliations**:
  • **Administer ordering and tracking of debit machines at all airports in the network**:
  • **Ensure reconciliation of station cash and debit card transactions**:
  • **Other duties as assigned**:
    ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
:


  • Lead and manage a team of 4+ team members, provide coaching and guidance on a regular basisMaintain and monitor control procedures to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the processing of invoicesIdentify areas of improvements by maximizing automation opportunitiesSubject matter expert on all systems integrations including AMOS, Coupa and Great PlainsSupport the supervisor of AP in queries, rectify issues and process adjustments to systems as requiredSupport monthend, quarterend and yearend preparations and other special projects (e.g. audits)Other duties as assignedActively participate in Porter's Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy

QUALIFICATIONS
