Medical Office Assistant_ to join our amazing team We are a growing practice of approximately 18 pain doctors looking to hire a full-time, permanent person to work in our clinic.
Duties for this role include:
- Answer phones.
- Book appointments in accordance with physician instructions.
- Scanning, filing, and other administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate records in the EMR system.
- Collect payment for privately billed procedures.
- Answer general patient questions about the clinic and communicate medical questions to the appropriate physician.
- Sanitize and stock treatment rooms.
- Understand and follow physician preferences for patient bookings.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- A professional and welcoming demeanor towards patients and colleagues is essential.
- Highly organized.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fulltime availability (Mon
- Fri) is required.
- A recognized MOA Certificate is considered an asset but not required.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in a medical setting.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Salary:
$19.00-$24.00 per hour
