Description

Facilitates regular planning meetings to develop an annual high-level refresh plan; this list is developed based on inputs such as budget, equipment age, model and the end user technology plan.


  • This plan should form the guidelines for developing a monthly refresh schedule.
  • Receive list of enduser names or contact names who require new computer equipment (add request).
  • Responds to any questions by endusers on computer equipment add/replace requests or redirects questions to the appropriate representative(s).
  • Obtains and documents this information in separate work orders, which includes:
  • New computer equipment hardware, including any additional options and hardware configuration instructions
  • Identify type of OS image to be applied, based on provided guidelines, and if onsite configuration is required
  • Obtains and documents user justification for any requests for new computer equipment hardware refresh that may result in nonstandard equipment, and forward request to authorized representative to review/approve nonstandard equipment.
  • Works with representative(s) and the Deployment Coordinator, VSAM and Inside Sales Team to ensure adequate stock of appropriate new computer equipment hardware is continually available in the storage location or is in transit from distribution.
  • Documents which computer equipment hardware can be allocated from inhouse stock, and which computer equipment hardware must be ordered for each work order.
  • Submits each completed work order to authorized representative(s) to approve prior to any deployment.

Salary:
$22.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

Asset Management: 4 years (preferred)

  • IT Procurement: 3 years (preferred)
Asset Inventory: 3 years (preferred)

  • IT Inventory: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • ITIL Certification (preferred)
