    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Performing necropsy of laboratory animals
    • Identifying proper storage conditions for collected samples and submitting to laboratories as needed
    • Conducting euthanasia, necropsy, and tissue trimming
    • Handling decalcification, tissue processor loading, and tissue embedding
    • Executing other research manipulations as required
    • Recording data into forms/spreadsheets and assisting in data analysis
    • Maintaining chemical inventory and hazardous chemicals manifest

    Requirements:

    • Medical laboratory diploma or College/Bachelor's in Science or Veterinary Medicine
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Quick learner and efficient worker
    • Detail-oriented
    • Proficient in English with functional French speaking skills

    This position offers:
