As the Digital Merchandiser, you will report to, and assist the Inventory Manager with planning, organizing, and merchandising the inventory so it is visible and presentable on for online sales (9 months/year).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist and Support Inventory Management and Tracking (7 months/year)_
- demand projections and forecasting
- updates and reconciliation of inventory into the system
- nursery tours to ensure inventory is on track and scheduled, and thus maximize availability
- E-Commerce Store set up in the Fall (2 months/year)_
- new item set up; researching, capturing, and entering into the database prior to the sales season start date
- improve systems and tools to help with this
- Customer Support (3 months/year)_
- Assist Order Desk Team during peak Seasons:
- Support Tickets (June)

What you bring:
- *Previous data entry experience is a strong asset*_
- Regular high attention to detail for the majority of your time
- Ability to handle quick task switching effectively
- Highly competent with technology. Familiar with or ability to learn
- Google Workspace (GMail, Google Meets, Google Docs)
- Spreadsheets and databases (formatting, math, and logic)
- FreshSales/FreshDesk CRM
- Driver's license an asset
- Handson when needed
- Understands trees, shrubs, and their handling, customer service
Ideally, we're looking for someone who knows about trees and shrubs for shelterbelts and for fruits and berries but we can provide the opportunity to learn more too.
To master this job, you will need strong customer service skills to match customers up with the practices that keep their plants alive and thriving.
