    Position Details


    Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Plumber for work at our Compost project in Calgary, AB.

    • Schedule: Monday - Friday
    • Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

    What You Will Be Working On

    • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, valves, and related equipment in an industrial setting.
    • Interpret blueprints, isometrics, P&IDs, and specifications to plan and lay out work
    • Complete pressure testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning tasks as required.
    • Work with various pipe materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and HDPE.
    • Adhere to all safety requirements, work procedures, and site-specific protocols.
    • Collaborate with supervisors, general forepersons, and other trades to meet project timelines.
    • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
    • Complete required documentation (FLHAs, permits, inspections, work orders).

    What We Are Looking For

    • CSTS 2020
    • WHMIS 2015
    • H2S Awareness
    • ESC Fall Protection
    • Valid Journeyperson certificate in the trade of Plumbing
    • Minimum 2 years of experience workingcommercial or infrastructure projects
    • Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions
    • The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
    • Must have at least2 years of commercial experience
    • Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
