Intermediate Environmental Professional
Office Location :
Pickering or Mississauga (Flexible Office Attendance & Remote Work Available)

We are a multidisciplinary team with a focus on environmental, hydrogeological, geotechnical, and ecology related services.
Our team of professional engineers, professional geoscientists, scientists, technologists, and support staff bring decades of experience and knowledge for a wide range of end markets.
As part of your role, responsibilities include:
- Co-ordination and execution of field work associated with our services (e.g., Phase One and Two ESAs, soil movement, remediation, and other related disciplines in the field);
- Preparation and/or review of technical reports;
- Communication with clients to assist with the development and execution of work;
- Proposal preparation and/or review;
- Ensuring high quality technical work, including field methodology, reporting, and client deliverables;
- Fostering an atmosphere of continuous improvement;
- Proactively committing to creating a positive work environment;
- Supporting and/or developing Health & Safety programs;
- Collaborating with other disciplines at EnVision with respect to multidisciplinary projects;
- Travel to sites within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario, as needed; and,
- Any other functions assigned as part of your employment.
- Degree or diploma in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline;
- Eligible or licensed as a P.Eng. or P.Geo. in Ontario is an asset, but not a requirement
- An understanding of regulations and standards applicable to site assessment and remediation work programs, such as O. Reg. 153/04, O. Reg. 406/19, Reg. 347, Reg.903, CSA Standards
- A valid Ontario G license
- A vehicle to travel to and from office/site (mileage to sites compensated), including valid and appropriate insurance on your vehicle
- Proven success in relationship building and strong leadership skills
- Comfortable interacting with the public, clients, contractors, and coworkers
- Ability to progress towards working independently with mínimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, and to proactively respond to timesensitive issues
Salary:
$70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
