- Presenting seasonal lines developed, providing relevant insight consistent with market trends
- Trend research. (Keep up to date with emerging and current trends)
- Work in collaboration with buyers and sales team on trends and customer needs
- Create technical sketches (CADS)
- Create and edit detailed technical packages, including detailed technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator
- Work closely with the fit and spec / technical team to ensure the styling and quality from development stage of each product to final production.
- Approve product samples and communicate overseas.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a design or technical design role
- College-level degree in Fashion Design or related experience
- Bilingual
- Relevant experience in contemporary fashions is a strong asset
- Relevant experience in outerwear design is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop
- Excellent fashion sense and ability to translate trends
- Proven experience in garment construction and design
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and be flexible
- Strong attention to detail, result driven, and good team player
