Cost Analyst - Compliance

***:

  • As a key member of the Bus Finance team and reporting to the Cost Manager, this position is responsible for Pre and Post Buy America audits, Canadian audits and cost audits.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:


  • Requests, updates, and maintains Buy America certificates and Buy Canadian certificates throughout the year.
  • Organizes invoices and quotes for Buy America and Buy Canadian content audits, and price/cost analysis audits.
  • Updates processes and manuals for Pre/Post Buy America and Buy Canadian content tasks.
  • Assists with scheduling cost roll updates, daily programs, and Oracle reports.
  • Prepares daily inventory, work in progress (WIP) and intransit standard change reports.
  • Supports yearend inventory counts and other Costing related functions.
**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: - Post-secondary education in finance, business, and/or equivalent.

  • 23 years of proven experience in an accounting and/or finance role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Quick learner who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel and MS Office.
  • Previous working knowledge of Oracle and Bill of Materials considered an asset.
  • Prior experience with Buy America/Buy Canadian content considered an asset.
