Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics


The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics (KCNI) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is harnessing the power of high-performance computing to integrate and analyze the wealth of data generated about the brain.

Our research is performed in an open science environment, with an emphasis on reproducible data-driven research and a patient-centric approach to accelerate identification and treatment of mental illness.

A focus on global collaboration is key to transforming our understanding of mental health and its treatment.

The Centre operates as an incubator for medical technologies to identify, manage and treat mental illness, while shaping policy at national and global levels.


Position Description
The Whole Person and Population Modelling Lab, led by Dr. Daniel Felsky, has an opening for a part-time, contract (5 months) Research Analyst. This position provides research support to Dr. Felsky and his lab members. It offers the opportunity to be part of an active and productive team, and a dynamic Research Centre.

  • Primary responsibilities will include:_
  • Performing statistical analyses related to the interplay between genetic risk for psychiatric and neurological illness and types of physical activity in youth.
  • Assisting in the writing of scientific manuscripts summarizing this work.
  • Working with trainees to write and maintain high quality online documentation for computational/research tools and workflows used in the lab.

This position is located at 250 College Street at the College Street Site of CAMH.


Qualifications

Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.

Please Note:
This part-time, contract (5 months) position is part of the OPSEU bargaining unit.


Salary Range:
$ $33.38 per hour
