Description
As a Housekeeping Aide & Laundry Aide you would be responsible for performing cleaning duties, laundry duties and routines that will provide a welcoming and safe environment for the residents to live in.
Qualifications
- Ability to take direction in housekeeping duties and to carry through in a safe, responsible and efficient manner.
- Mature and pleasant disposition.
- Working knowledge of sewing and floor washing machine and other related equipment.
- Flexibility for scheduling an asset.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the maintenance of a clean facility.
- To ensure that all linens and Residents clothing are clean and maintained.
- Demonstrate ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrate ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Mental and physical health to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to cooperate with others.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift; 7:00 15:00
- Evening shift; 15:00 23:00
- Weekend availability
- Potential to move up from casual to part time/full time.
