Our trade brands are Madero, West Four Distribution, Penner Doors & Hardware, Security Building Supplies and WSI, with facilities in Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, and Winnipeg.

As a result of West Four's continued growth, we require a Controller to oversee our accounting processes and the corporate finance team.

This position will report to the Vice President Finance and is located at West Four's corporate offices in Saskatoon, SK.

The successful applicant will be organized, goal oriented, solves problems and celebrates successes.

Responsibilities

Supervise a dedicated team, covering the areas of A/R, A/P, General Accounting and Payroll
Ensure the efficient, ontime and accurate completion of the monthly accounting cycle, including financial statements
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance processes
Provide support to our business teams and ensure company policies are adhered to
Manage annual audit process and preparation of annual external financials

Requirements:

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or very near completion.
Minimum three years experience supervising accounting staff
Strong verbal and written communication skills that meet the professional standard required of this role
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in an ERP analytics systems environment is an asset
Superior organizational and time management skills
