Gain experience within FortisBC's Marketing and Customer Communications Team
Work on assignment and projects to provide opportunities for engagement with various levels of staff
Develop an understanding of the workings within the department and FortisBC
Gain experience in effective team and partner collaborations Responsibilities
Assisting with booking events
Co-ordinating communication materials and messaging for events
Assisting with messaging for social media and/or distributions of photos at events
Work collaboratively with various groups in the organization including project teams & community liaisons Requirements


Education:


Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Business program pursuing Marketing, Commerce, or a related field with intent to return to school after the Co-op work term.

Preference given to third and fourth year students.


Qualifications:

Creative thinker with strong skills in the use of business analysis, financial evaluation methods, and project management
Ability to communicate effectively and to maintain collaborative relationships
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong presentation skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Analytical thinking/problem solving - capable of complex reasoning analysis
Interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate on projects, maintain effective relationships, and communicate clearly
Independent - ability to work well under limited supervision
Knowledge of Sharepoint an asset
Customer Service experience an asset


Valid BC Driver's license What you need to know:
Target start date is January 2023.
