Job PostingIndustrial Painter, Full Time
MacKinnon & Olding has an immediate need for Painters to join its team in Nova Scotia and Quebec.
This position has potential for a Monday - Friday schedule or 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation based on location.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
What you will do
- Application and/or removal of protective coatings;
- Necessary maintenance of tools and equipment;
- Ensure the most effective use of all equipment and materials on contract;
- Operate handheld spray guns to spray paint or coat stationary items;
- Clean and maintain painting and coating equipment;
- Adopt safe working practices and promote safety awareness;
- Other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Your background
- 1 year experience in Industrial painting.
- Experience in steel hand/power tool cleaning, abrasive blasting, water jetting and/or spray painting would be considered an asset.
- All successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance.
