    Pharmacy Assistant II Job Description

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient-centered care and exceeding patients' expectations.

    • Prescription assembly – data entry: Assemble and process prescriptions efficiently and accurately.
    • Customer transactions: Process customer transactions in a timely and professional manner.
    • Refill requests: Receive and record refill requests from customers.
    • Promotion of PROfiles programs: Promote pharmacy services and encourage customers to participate in our programs.
    • Compounding: Prepare medications according to prescription instructions.
    • Pill Pack Assembly: Assemble pill packs for customers.
    • Filing and supplies: File prescriptions and order supplies as needed.
    • Drug order creation and receiving: Process and receive drug orders efficiently.
    • Scheduling: Schedule clinical services such as medication reviews and health risk assessments.
    • BTC management: Manage Business-to-Business (BTC) transactions.
    • Administrative duties: Perform administrative tasks such as cycle counts and narcotic counts.

    Requirements

    • Preferred: Undergraduate degree or Pharmacy Technology Certificate.
    • Previous pharmacy experience is an asset.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
