Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our hydraulic cylinder manufacturing and repair facility.

As an Inside Sales Representative - Manufacturing, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

You will collaborate closely with our customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the success of our hydraulic cylinder manufacturing and repair business.

This is a dynamic role that requires effective communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with customers.


Job Responsibilities & Duties

Customer Relationship Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs, providing a point of first contact, and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Utilize the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to track and manage customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities.

Quote and Order Processing:


  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations and proposals for hydraulic manufacturing products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations to gather necessary costing information and provide competitive pricing to customers.
  • Manage the order process from initial inquiry to final delivery. Coordinate with internal teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Team Collaboration:


  • Collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams, including operations, engineering, finance, and administration, to ensure smooth business operations and promote a cohesive team environment.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, campaigns, and promotional strategies to generate leads and support sales efforts.
  • Share customer feedback, market insights, and competitive intelligence with the team to inform business decisions and improve our offerings.

Technical Learning and Support:


  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of our hydraulic cylinder repair and manufacturing services, processes, and capabilities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to effectively position our services and provide value to customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to customers, assisting them in selecting the most suitable solutions for their requirements.

Sales Revenue and Pipeline:


  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly, providing accurate information and addressing customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and tactics for increasing sales and achieving revenue targets following a defined sales process.

Requirements:


  • Postsecondary education in business, engineering, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in inside sales or a similar customerfacing role, preferably within a technical or industrial manufacturing setting
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic systems and components, including cylinders, seals, and related equipment.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish longterm customer relationships.
  • Resultsorientated mindset, with an initiativetaking approach to sales

Proficiency in using CRM and ERP software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions and sales activities. Salesforce and JobBOSS experience considered an asset.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits and trade shows.

Working Environment

  • Dedicated inoffice position.
  • 40hour M-F work week
