Our client is looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Senior Financial Analyst. This opportunity is with a dynamic junior mining company dedicated to pioneering excellence in the industry. This role offers collaboration opportunities with our dedicated off-site Canadian team.
Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including reporting, budgeting, and internal controls
Implement and maintain effective internal controls tailored to the needs of a small mining company
Work closely with the Director of Finance to offload reporting, budgeting, and internal controls responsibilities
Liaise with mine sites in Arizona, visiting 2-3 times a year
Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and presentations for stakeholders

Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance in line with the company's strategic objectives.

Evaluate and optimize the company's capital structure, including debt and equity financing options, to support growth initiatives and maximize shareholder value.

Designation as a senior financial analyst with experience in controllership, ideally in a public company with mining sector experience
Proven experience in implementing internal controls, particularly in smaller organizations
Willingness to travel occasionally to mine sites (minimal)
Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not required
