    About Our Programs: The Faculty of Education offers two cohort-based graduate-level counselling psychology programs, which are in high demand, and are approved programs with the College of Alberta Psychologists. This includes the blended-delivery Master of Counselling (MC) program, as well as an on-campus Master of Education (MEd) Counselling Psychology program.     Position Details:

    Areas of instruction include:

    • Counselling Theories and Their Application to Client Change
    • Foundational Counselling and Conflict Resolution Skills
    • Counselling Strategies and Interventions
    • Group Counselling and Process SkillsCourses are offered via blended delivery with online course work in May and June being supplemented by face-to-face components on campus, in Lethbridge, for a week in July. Stipend per course is $6,709 (Sessional Lecturer I) to $7,020 (Sessional Lecturer II). Candidates could be invited to teach two courses.
    Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills · Master's degree in Counselling Psychology (minimum requirement) o Doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology (preferred) · Registered Psychologist status· Minimum 5 years clinical practice experience (preferred) · Ability to teach practice-oriented coursesThe ability to teach in online, face-to-face, and blended formats, and the ability to integrate innovative technology into teaching will be an asset for this position.
