This is a Part-Time position. We are looking for people to work a minimum of three (3) shifts per week however upwards of four (4) shifts per week are available. Shifts are typically 2-10pm Monday-Friday or 7-3 or 2-10 on Saturday and Sunday however flexible shift times may be considered.
The successful applicants would need to available on both weekend days and then one evening during the week. Shifts are based on the needs of the program.


Skills and Qualifications:


The successful applicants will be responsible to the Out of Home Living Program Supervisor or designate, and will be assisting all out of home living and community youth in their treatment development and clinical objectives.

Specific job duties will include but are not limited to:

- direct implementation of therapeutic programming (including recreation/leisure programs)
- assisting youth in self-help and adaptive functioning skills (i.e., daily living skills)
- maintaining a safe environment while working with the youth
- collecting all data, as specified in program plans and objectives
- successful internal and external applicants may be required to work with up to two youth each day and on occasion may need to work without a break due to youth safety

  • Applicants enrolled in related postsecondary education and knowledge of autism and relevant experience will be an asset.
