Kelly Services a leader in providing global workforce solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Draftsperson with proficiency in 2D CAD to join our clients team in Kentville, NS.

As a Draftsperson, you will play a key role in assisting the engineering and design teams in creating detailed electrical technical drawings.

Please note that this is a 1 year contract with the possibility of extension.

Utilize 2D CAD software (or similar) to create and update detailed electrical technical drawings based on requirements and specifications.

Collaborate with engineers and maintenance personal to understand project objectives and translate modified designs into accurate drawings.
Maintain organized files and documentation of drawings, revisions, and project specifications for reference and record-keeping purposes.
Assist in the preparation of materials and documentation for project proposals, presentations, and client meetings as needed.
Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and best practices in drafting and design.
Technical degree or equivalent in drafting, electrical engineering, or related field.
Proven experience working as a Draftsperson, preferably in a construction or engineering.
Proficiency in 2CAD software with a strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings and plans.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Comfortable working in a fast pace industrial environment
Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD modeling
Experienced in using Microsoft Tools (Outlook, TEAM, Excel)
Knowledge of electrical schematic symbols
Previous experience in the construction or engineering industries

A steady day job, with the opportunity for overtime or other arrangement as applicable
Vacation pay 4% paid weekly on top of your regular pay
