Job description
The grounds person is an essential member of the Timberline Arborist's daily operations.


Duties include:

• Safely operating wood chipper
• Site clean up
• Assisting arborist with rigging of tree branches and logs
• Occasional stump grinding
• Various clean up and additional duties as assigned by arborist

Required qualifications:

• Valid driver's licence with clean abstract
• Safety work boots, hard hat and eye protection
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs, repetitive
• Ability to get to assigned job sites daily
• Hard working, fast learner, dependable, SAFETY CONSCIOUS

*Previous grounds experience with tree company or landscaping considered an asset. Special consideration given to tree climbing experience and/or tree climbing interest.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week


Salary:
From $17.00 per hour
