Broadband Maintenance Inc. is a Telecommunication Construction Company in the Ottawa and surrounding area. We are currently seeking
Hydrovac Operators to join our team. We offer extensive training, a competitive wage as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities and Duties
The position will require minor field maintenance of the equipment, regular inspections and obeying directions from the site supervisor.

Understanding how operating the equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures puts you above all else.

We would like to have an operator that understands having clean equipment is part of the job as well as taking instructions and working as part of a team.

Main Activities

Operate hydrovac trucks in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
Clean hydrovac truck as scheduled and/or required
Ensure hydrovac truck is safely and securely store
Participate in routine maintenance
Participate in workplace safety
Be able to accept instructions and to adjust to changing conditions (including stepping out of the hydrovac and working as general labourer if/when required), policies and procedures

Requirements:

Valid DZ or AZ license with a clean Drivers Abstract.
Hydrovac experience is considered a strong asset
Ability to communicate and report issues effectively
Good physical condition and stamina
Selfmotivated and drive
