- Full responsibility for kitchen operations
- Lead and develop a team with clear standards and expectations
- Recruit, train and coach staff to keep turnover low
- Build strong communication with front of house and other departments
- Maintain training programs and company standards
- Hit revenue targets by managing labour, food costs and expenses
- Maintain consistent quality, flavour and presentation
- Estimate food and labour needs accurately
- Cook for groups, tours, a la carte and buffet service
- Control and keep the kitchen safe
- Identify training needs and follow up
- Recognize strong performance
- Take on other operational duties as needed
- Three years as a Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Strong record of food quality, consistency and cost control
- Clear interest in hospitality and team leadership
- Detail focused with a commitment to high standards
- Hands on leadership style in a fast-paced environment
