Position summary


Reporting to the General Manager, the Service Manager is responsible for production activities by recruiting, training, motivating, and leading a team of Lawn Care Technicians to meet the needs of our customers.

Customer service and sales will also be required.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, supervise, assess performance, and coach Lawn Care Technicians to meet and exceed customer service / production requirements for new and existing customers.
  • Schedule, track and report the daily production and calibration data
  • Maintaining a fleet of vehicles and related equipment
  • Purchasing and inventory control
  • Quality control and customer service
  • Interact daily with customers to maintain relationships and resolve lawn problems
  • Participate in planning, development and execution of strategy for the future development of the department.
  • Perform related duties and responsibilities as required to meet company objectives

Qualifications:


  • Valid driver's license
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multitasking skills
  • Extensive experience in the service industry, sales or customer service
  • 13 years experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Post secondary education is preferred
