    Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Meat Cler k at our Food Store location in Nipawin, SK.

    Reporting to the Meat Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

    • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach

    • Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone

    • Properly prepare products to Co-op standards, package and label finished products, maintain production records

    • Ensure to keep a clean and maintained department

    • Maintain and display all types of meat products according to department standards

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    Who you are:
    You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

    • You have your grade 12 or equivalent experience; retail meat clerk experience especially in the CRS would be considered an asset

    • You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and are proud of the work that you do

    • You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision

    • You are familiar with Food Safe procedures and practices

    • Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required

    • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

    • You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment

    • You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
