This is a summer 2023 Co-op opportunity. This opportunity is suitable to students seeking a 4-month term of work experience.

You as a Co-op Student - Proposal Coordinator will:

Support the Business Development team with timely management and production of proposal responses (RFP, RFQ, EOI, SOA, etc.)
Support pursuit teams throughout the proposal submission stage, including supporting strategy development, attending meetings, managing the FTP site, and coordinating with contributors.
Write and edit proposal content including executive summaries, project descriptions, qualification summaries, and CVs.
Develop, update, and maintain data for proposals, such as detailed project challenges and solutions, project profiles, area statistics, photos, references, etc. for use in future proposal responses.
Help produce the BC quarterly internal digital newsletter, which includes gathering and writing content and producing and/or providing input into the layout
Create internal and external PowerPoint presentations
Assist with any marketing initiatives when the need arises. This may include creating social media content, coordinating video production, and creating marketing collateral

Is this the right role for you?

You are currently studying in the field of communications, marketing, or a related field
You are comfortable collaborating with teams to meet deadlines, taking a proactive approach to keep projects on track. You have strong technical writing ability including editing and proofreading skills.

Bonus:
You have aptitude, interest, and/or training in graphic design.

You are well versed with Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign), and experience with Google Workspace is an asset.
