As the Manager, Strategic Initiatives at Sephora, you'll be at the forefront of driving our growth strategies in partnership with the Canadian Leadership Team and the Director of Corporate Strategy & Strategic Projects.
You'll lead the charge in planning, developing, and driving strategic initiatives and projects that shape our future, while ensuring alignment with our overarching business strategy.
Your responsibilities will encompass everything from project management to governance processes, with a key focus on fostering collaboration across the organization.

- Support the annual strategic project planning process and lead the overall program management, project delivery and corporate governance of initiatives and priority projects for Sephora Canada
- Support the development of key deliverables such as charters, important metrics, roadmaps and business cases for each initiative
- Support the creation and delivery of compelling PowerPoint presentations for leadership meetings and internal and external audiences to improve strategic decision making and support recommendations
- Work collaboratively with the leadership team, business unit leaders and/or project leads to drive the ontime delivery of critical corporateled and businessunit led initiatives
- Serve as the meeting lead/facilitator for Enterprise meetings, provide meaningful updates and promote group discussion
- Develop deep understanding of project risks and interdependencies, business cases, and critical milestones of strategic projects
- Maintain and curate strong passion for curiosity, innovation, constructive thought, and influence
- Challenge internal partners to ensure business is driving towards defined strategic intent and objectives
- Support the adoption, implementation and adherence to project/program management methodologies and tools across the business, throughout the project lifecycle
- Drive transparency, accountability and provide tracking and reporting on all active projects that directly influence the organization's initiatives and priorities
- Lead the development of outstanding corporate PMO processes and capabilities
- Ensure a robust process is followed to achieve desired outcomes from projects
- Identify and raise issues as needed for all initiatives and across high priority projects
- Track, monitor and report status to key partners for each project, advising sponsors and partners on key breakthroughs, accomplishments, issues, and risks
- Proactively drive and implement improvements to improve reporting and elevate insights
- Support postimplementation review to ensure project benefits and important metrics are achieved
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 4+ years of experience in project management, strategic planning, and execution/delivery of complex initiatives, preferably within the retail industry
- University/College Degree in Business Administration
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners at all levels
- Master communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to lead multiple projects in a fast paced and timesensitive environment
- Problem solver and love for finding solutions drawn from your experience and detailed analysis
- Results driven, motivated by a high sense of performance excellence and urgency
- Conflict resolution expertise with the ability to push back to ensure deliverables are being met in a timely manner
- Experience working with and aligning a broad range partners on a strategic goal
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other Project Management certification is an asset; knowledge and working practice with lean and/or agile methodologies preferred
- Strong expertise in Smartsheet (or equivalent) Project Management Tool to support the planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects
