We are currently seeking a strong self-starter for a full-time position as a
Accounts Receivable Clerk in Spruce Grove, AB to join our existing team.
Through performing a mixture of daily, weekly and monthly functions, this position will bring efficiencies and increase the responsive abilities of our Finance Team.
In a multi-entity environment, this role will take ownership of assigned entities and be a key 'go to' for understanding the daily on-goings of the companies with regards to customers billing.
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is expected to work 8-hour days (8:00 am - 4:30 pm), Monday through Friday.
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk YOU will:
- Complete timely and accurate billings to our customers
- Manage and reconcile accounts receivables for assigned accounts/clients
- Maintain precise records, with exceptional attention to detail
- Make weekly collections calls for any outstanding payments
- Upload invoices from approved spreadsheet submissions
- Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies
- High volume data entry with accuracy
- Prepare deposits
- Journalize bankrelated entries
- Administrative duties as necessary for the office
- Order and organize office supplies
- Experience with Open Invoice/FieldGlass/ARIBA would be an asset
What we need from YOU:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Office Administration
- Strong computer literacy with advanced working skills in Microsoft Office Suite with the demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Excellent organization and time management skills to manage high volumes and competing deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- A high level of demonstrated productivity while working as part of a team and independently
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to accept increasing responsibilities as experience grows
As part of our Hiring Process, YOU will be asked to:
- Provide an advanced Class 5 Driver's License and
clean Driver's Abstract (minimum of 3 years) - Provide a criminal record check
- Complete drug and alcohol screening with a negative result
- Complete a fitness evaluation related specifically to your position
- Provide copies of current certifications/designations
