The Opportunity
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Regina branch.

In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians, manage projects and teams project deliveries, ensure quality control, foster client relationships, and drive business growth within the region.


Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage branch operations, financial success, and staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and highperforming team environment by providing guidance, training, and resources as necessary.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various projects assigned personally and with the team.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the client base and revenue streams.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Adhere and commit to OH&S Legislation and follow ParklandGEO's safety manuals, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee that RSO requirements are being met and work in collaboration with Corporate RSO on any deliverables or concerns.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in materials testing, geotechnical or environmental engineering, or related field, with a proven track record of project management and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of running a branch from daytoday operations to financial health.
  • 58 years of successfully managing employees and deliverables.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, project management software, and other relevant programs.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to effectively manager and develop a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel and work away from home to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Valid Alberta Driver's license, insurable and able to provide a 3year driving abstract.
ParklandGEO is a mid-sized engineering consulting company founded in 2000 that provides practical and high-quality engineering services and solutions.

The company operates ten sites across Western Canada, specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, materials testing, and other geotechnical services.
