Key Responsibilities:
The Bell Consumer team is continuing with its focus on the new construction segment in Ontario.
With more than 70,000 homes constructed in this province each year, Bell is relentless in its pursuit of gaining and maintaining dominant market share, and leveraging its world class Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network to provide Canadians with its Fibe Internet, TV and Home Phone products.
The Specialist, Business Development (New Construction Partnerships) role is a strategically important part of the overall Bell Consumer strategy, and has been designed for a quick-thinking and logical professional who wishes to work and lead in an evolving and fast-paced environment.
Critical Qualifications:
- Understand key differences between developers and how Bell can approach individual businesses to drive stronger partnerships
- Build and implement account specific strategies
- Work to meet SFU & MDU wiring and marketing rights agreement targets: Through a consultative selling process, ensure each residential development site within each account is signed to a wiring & partnership agreement
- Analyze, understand and speak to market trends, major players, opportunities, threats and levels of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong connections to the new construction industry in the Greater Toronto Area
- Minimum 5 years of experience of sales, business development, or relationship/partnership management, ideally in the MDU or new construction space
- Proven ability to bid and win exclusive or unique deal opportunities
- Strong background in process creation
- Outstanding and proven people skills; ability to influence C-Suite leaders
- Experience managing day to day operational and administrative requirements
- Telecom industry experience is an asset

- A very strong desire to win in the marketplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with highlevel presentation skills
- An innate ability to communicate with colleagues and make them feel comfortable with change
- Strong selfmotivation with highenergy, and assertive
- A keen eye for analytics and using data to help drive decisions
