Mo Si Ristorante in Woodbridge (Langstaff & 400) is looking for a talented & creative Line Cook to join our team.
Key
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Line Cook, under the guidance of the Executive Chef will ensure that food is prepared according to the quality standards expected from the Restaurant.
- Prepare and cook Restaurant Menu using skill, creativity, the best quality ingredients, and effective methods to control costs.
- Maintain a handson approach in working "the line" during busy service times.
- Help achieve consistent financial targets with purchasing, inventory, and labour.
- Comply with all regulatory health and safety codes, working towards creating a strong workplace health and safety environment.
- Work with the Executive Chef, staff & Management to ensure the Restaurant's vision is being achieved to provide an unprecedented experience to our guests.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years cooking experience as a Line Cook within a restaurant environment.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, team, communication, and coaching skills.
- Excellent knowledge of current culinary trends.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Food Handlers certificate.
- Work in collaboration with the FOH management and staff to ensure the restaurant's vision is being achieved to provide an unprecedent experience to our guests.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$20.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
