Description
We are a one of a kind urban mill, bakery, toast and espresso bar in liberty village.

We take premium organic Canadian heritage and ancient grains, stone mill them onsite and use it fresh in our bread that we bake in store daily and for others around the city.


Since opening in January 2019 we have attracted a huge amount of interest and are looking for the right individual to help us keep up with the demand.

We are an extremely passionate group of individuals who love bread and everything to do with fresh flour and fermentation with a company that is expanding rapidly.

We are the only bakery in the city using 100% fresh flour milled on-site to bake with, its truly a one of a kind opportunity.

We are looking for a production baker (1 + years) with experience in the following:

  • Sourdough bread production in a high volume, professional setting.
  • Experience with commercial ovens, loaders and mixers
  • Experience mixing and hand shaping fermented breads
  • Team playerability to follow directions and work with others,
  • Must be comfortable with lifting 50lb grain bags. This is essential to be able to assist with milling.
  • The mix also consists of a lot of low lifting from floor level to table. Weights are generally between 13 and 28kg.
Comfortable non-slip shoes and a hat are required, but otherwise lenient on apparel. Aprons are provided.


Salary:
$20.50-$22.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 30 per week
