Responsibilities:


  • Managing the Implementation Team, responsible for onboarding new clients and conducting accounting and other fintech software conversions and implementations
  • Implementing QuickBooks Online, Xero and other cloudbased accounting systems and integrated management systems/apps
  • Working with clients to optimize workflows and processes for their business
  • Managing multiple projects across the team to ensure they are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget
  • Training clients on software and workflows
  • Training new team members on software and workflows
  • Refining and designing beautiful Chart of Accounts (yes they can be), and restructuring data for optimised reporting and analysis
  • Supporting the learning and development of two direct reports
  • Providing support to other accountants across the organisation with data, systems, and workflow improvements on their ongoing client files
  • Conduct assessments for potential clients, evaluating the quality of the bookkeeping and results, as well as providing recommendations for improvements

Requirements:


  • 3+ years of fullcycle accounting experience with 2+ years in public practice
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Working towards or have completed your CPA Designation
  • Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online or Xero an asset)
  • Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting
  • Prior experience with software implementation projects determining business needs, understanding functional requirements details, understanding how to work with data
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
