Responsibilities:
- Managing the Implementation Team, responsible for onboarding new clients and conducting accounting and other fintech software conversions and implementations
- Implementing QuickBooks Online, Xero and other cloudbased accounting systems and integrated management systems/apps
- Working with clients to optimize workflows and processes for their business
- Managing multiple projects across the team to ensure they are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget
- Training clients on software and workflows
- Training new team members on software and workflows
- Refining and designing beautiful Chart of Accounts (yes they can be), and restructuring data for optimised reporting and analysis
- Supporting the learning and development of two direct reports
- Providing support to other accountants across the organisation with data, systems, and workflow improvements on their ongoing client files
- Conduct assessments for potential clients, evaluating the quality of the bookkeeping and results, as well as providing recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of fullcycle accounting experience with 2+ years in public practice
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Working towards or have completed your CPA Designation
- Tech Savvy (Experience using QuickBooks Online or Xero an asset)
- Experience with data analysis, financial statement analysis, financial planning, and reporting
- Prior experience with software implementation projects determining business needs, understanding functional requirements details, understanding how to work with data
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
