Previous Emergency Department unit secretary experience
required:
Demonstrated strong knowledge of medical terminology required
Proficient computer and typing skills
Demonstrated strong customer service, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
essential:
Demonstrated customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast paced environment essential
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written
MEDITECH computer experience preferred
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and decisionmaking skills with a high attention to detail essential
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a team environment required
Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with organization related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required

$25.93-$29.17 per hour
