Our team is growing & looking for another superstar team member who is devoted to the field of ECE, and loves working with young children We are looking for a full-time early childhood educator to work with a group of 8 children in a full-day preschool classroom setting.

ROLE - EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR:
Our early childhood educators lead preschool programs for groups of 8 to 10 children in a classroom setting. Early childhood educators are experts in child development, education, and classroom management. Early childhood educators are responsible for their own curriculum planning and preparation for their classroom group. Our educators participate in continuous professional development and work under the supervision of our pedagogical consultant.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be bilingual (French & English)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (French & English)
  • Ability to use technology in the classroom & for planning purposes
  • Physical capacity to bend, run, jump, and lift a child up to 30 lbs, as required

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience teaching in a preschool / daycare setting

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Valid CPR certification for daycare & early childhood settings (includes allergy component for treating anaphylaxis)
  • Valid police background check (less than 3 years old)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:


The position offers a full-time schedule, 5 days per week and pays according to the MFA government salary scale (from $21-$30 per hour).

*Senior teachers can be eligible for an annual salary rather than variable weekly hourly schedules.

Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
