Job Purpose
The Bookkeeper will work closely with the Finance Manager to maintain company financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Manage purchase orders, invoices and tax payments
- Process payroll
- Reconcile credit card statements
- Reconcile bank statements
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Open to perform general administrative duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of QuickBooks Desktop
- General understanding and/or interest in residential construction is an asset
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet repeating deadlines
- Proactive and positive attitude
