Description

Reception Duties:


  • Greeting clients and answering telephone
  • Maintaining/reordering office supplies
  • Courier, mail, filing, scanning, photocopying, electronic filing

Administrative Duties:


  • Compiling yearend packages for clients
  • Client billing and Accounts Receivable Management including collections
  • Maintaining firm filing system and office support
  • Preparation of letters and correspondence with CRA when required
  • Preparing/receiving cheques, cash receipts, credit card payments, deposits
  • Importing client data into various accounting software
  • Supporting staff including partners and accountants
  • Submission and tracking of monthly and quarterly client CRA remittances
  • 2+ years recent administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editors with high attention to accuracy and detail
  • Professional attitude and desire to learn
  • Has excellent customer service skills energetic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Takes initiative and has strong problem solving skills
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has strong computer skills and is able to troubleshoot problems independently (i.e. Microsoft word, excel etc.)
  • Is familiar with the following accounting programs, however, this is not required: Jazzit, Caseware, Profile, Sage Simply Accounting, Quickbooks
  • Has experience in financial statement preparation

Other Items (Requirements/Benefits):


  • Overtime expected during February to April and when required
  • Work hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 4:30, 7.5 hours working per day
  • Extended medical benefits available after probationary period
  • Banked overtime hours

Compensation:


  • Hourly ($20 $25) Dependent on experience and skill level

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
