Cunningham and Rivard Appraisals is one of the leading real estate valuation firms in British Columbia. We are seeking an experienced, organized and collaborative
Office Manager for our North Vancouver office. The role involves Administrative, Supervisory, Human Resource, Coordinating, Account Receivable/Payable, Payroll, and supporting tasks.


Applicable Functions/Duties:


  • Coordinate and monitor office to ensure company requirements are met on a daily basis
  • Manage administrative aspects of the office
  • Supervise administrative team
  • Coordinate residential appraisal team
  • Assist in Human Resource functions
  • Execute banking and bookkeeping tasks
  • Ensure timely reporting of financials
  • Process payroll in an accurate and timely manner and maintain all records
  • Invoice customers and collect on overdue payments
  • Maintain supplies, inventory, and manage employee requests
  • Working with our accountants to provide them with statements and deposit details
  • Schedule and prioritize office needs to meet operating requirements
  • Develop and implement effective procedures for the continuous improvement of office operations, including cost/efficiency comparisons for services and supplies
  • Report editing and formatting

Position Requirements:


  • Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience in a professional services environment
  • Strong Accounting background
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to ability to lead others and work independently
  • Understand the sensitive nature of working in the office, have good judgement, problem solving skills and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fastpaced environment
  • Must have excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and typing proficiency

  • Office Management: minimum 3 years
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or mix of education and experience

Pay:
$26.00-$28.00 per hour
