Position Summary:
Provides basic farm maintenance to all corporate farm locations.
Job Functions /Responsibilities
- Basic farm maintenance
- Delivering supplies
- Executing maintenance schedule
- Possible yard work when required
- Possible farm chores when required
- Backup to maintenance manager when needed
Skills/ Experience
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Able to problem solve mechanically
- Treatment of animals with the outmost respect
- Safety conscious
- Comfortable working on ladders
- Possess the willingness to do a multitude of different tasks daily
Education and Specifications
- Maintains prompt and courteous response to farm team requests
- Grade 12 education mandatory. Mechanical trade certification will be added advantage
- Be successdriven and have a "can do" attitude
- Be able to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management skills
- Have a good safety record
- Class 5 driver's license
Schedule:
Tuesday-Saturday min 40hrs per week
Company van with fuel card (up to 30% personal use
Compensation for cell phone $35 per month
Job Types:
