Position Title: Functional Business Systems Analyst

Location: Edmonton, AB (Fully Onsite) Type: Permanent All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. The Position Our Edmonton Client, is seeking a Functional Business Systems Analyst join their team. In this position, you will lead the way in business innovation, acting as the catalyst for connecting IT with Finance. We're looking for an energetic individual to oversee the implementation, support and enhancement of financial systems and solutions. Experience with and understanding of financial concepts and systems is a must. What You'll Do

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for financial systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
• Design and implement solutions to enhance financial systems, streamline processes, and improve data accuracy.
• Understand business needs and configure financial systems accordingly
• Develop and maintain documentation, including financial system requirements, process flows, and user guides.

Mandatories (must Have To Qualify)

• Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in a technical Business Analyst or Application Support roles
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts relevant to technical Business Analysis or application support
• Strong working knowledge of financial business applications and financial system implementations
• Experience utilizing Microsoft products including Power BI, Azure, and Office 365
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic setting
