Cost/financial Analyst - Kingsville, Canada - Universal Fabricating Inc.

Description

• Manage all aspects of sales & cost accounting for the department, including project accounting/revenue recognition for both Canada and U.S.A.
• Control all company assets ie. inventory, fixed assets, etc.
• Perform all monthly and annual reconciliations for these respective areas.
• Create capital investment requests in conjunction with Purchasing to evaluate proper ROI.
• Create CAPEX cash flow forecasts for all 4 legal entities and monitor actual to budgeted spending.
• Perform and record monthly cycle counts.
• Perform all aspects of product costing, including revaluation, obsolescence, and margin analysis.
• Create adhoc reports to support the company's sales growth & margin enhancement programs.
• Serve as back up to the company's financial analyst & assist with daily tasks as required.
• Assist in the completion of the monthly financial presentation with the CFO.
• Assist in various adhoc presentations/projects as required.
• Assist with customer monthly contract billings.
• Assist with the preparation of internal & external financial reporting.
• Assist with internal & external audits.
• Assist in monthly forecasts and yearly budget process.
• Assist with generating accounting policies and procedures.

• 23 year's work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• CPA Graduate or near completion of degree
• Advanced Microsoft skills
• Proficient knowledge of Canadian GAAP
