Overview:
The chosen candidate will maintain seamless production operations by procuring the necessary goods and services to meet the manufacturing blueprint while endeavoring to minimize shortages and inventory levels (both in quantity and cost). The Purchaser will facilitate the expedited delivery of goods when essential, engage in negotiations with vendors while nurturing positive relationships, assess vendors and components, conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and identify new potential suppliers for current and upcoming components. Additionally, the Purchaser will play a role in Production meetings, addressing concerns linked to material shortages, delivery schedules, and general Supply Chain inquiries (comprising purchasing and planning).
