We have an immediate opening for an Service/Install Garage Door Helper located in Winnipeg.This role is a permanent full-time position with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities
- Participating in installing Sectional (includes FinDoor), Rolling steel, Fire Doors, High Speed Doors, Security Grilles Roll Shutters Bifold D&A Testing for site access or post incident Championing safety standards with a strong safety mindset Working with hand tools electric tools lifts ladders Maintain a professional manner during regular interaction with warehouse staff construction Project Managers customers other trades safety personnel Taking direction from Lead Technician providing support Out of town travel installation service work not limited weekdays- without notice Focus quality workmanship Actively participating learning skill intention progress Lead Technician Participate training execution welding installation repairs required Regularly communicate coordinate scheduler problem solving provide solutions parts needed Effectively assess job scope Lead Technician note discrepancies scheduler immediately ie product warranty site conditions safety Complete all required paperwork daily submitted time end each work day ie timesheets FHLA's job workorder clear notes part's Providing Service diagnose problems provide solutions carry out required overhead doors If needed on-call rotation Service Ability transport product trailers manlifts trailers sites safely Accountable making sure safety training tickets up date valid clearly communicate scheduler required renewals WHMIS Fall Protection First Aid etc Wearing hard hat PPE mandatory this sensitivity General warehouse duties Daily attendance punctuality Other duties assigned
