Our Quality Department is looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician to be able to work from 8am to 5pm with flexibility to work alternate weekly schedules and weekends.


Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Set up and conduct analytical, and chemical tests and laboratory analyses to support the quality control of manufactured products.
  • Ability to use various testing equipment such as: viscosimeters, pH meter, measuring instruments, drying ovens, for testing of finished products or incoming materials.
  • Perform daily production document verifications, process verification, batch filing, and provide production support for quality aspects.
  • Analyze data obtained from laboratory tests and data documenting in dedicated logs and forms.
  • Participating in investigation of deviations and customer complaints.
  • Review and update of internal procedures, policies, and production forms.
  • Demonstrate excellent problemsolving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications - (Education, Certification, Degree, Skills, Knowledge, _etc_.)

Education:


  • A minimum of a college diploma in a related science field.
  • A bachelor's degree in science is considered an asset.

Experience:


  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality role.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical instruments.
  • Strong ability to conduct quality testing on products and materials.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail with aboveaverage organizational skills to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration skills and ability to contribute to a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in English (French considered an asset).
